A local youth was arrested after police responded to reports of erratic driving in Southside early Saturday.

A local youth was arrested after police responded to reports of erratic driving in Southside early Saturday.

Police say that around 1 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 26, calls came in of a white pickup driving erratically on the 1200 block of Oscar street.

Shortly after, Revelstoke RCMP located a white 2000 Ford F150 pickup truck near the Illecillewaet River.

The vehicle was later determined to have been stolen from the 1200 block of Humbert Street.

A local youth was arrested in connection with the recovery of the stolen vehicle.
