Alexandra Margaret (Sandra) Sherban passed away at Royal Inland Hospital, Kamloops, B.C. on Saturday, June 18th, 2011 at the age of 65 years. A Memorial Service will be held later in the summer. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice, in memory of Sandra.
Sandra was born in Hawick, Scotland on June 24, 1945 and moved to Revelstoke as an infant. For the past year she resided in Salmon Arm. She enjoyed crafts, loved trains and hockey and was a great Canucks fan. Sandra was a very social person and had a strong faith.
Sandra was predeceased by her parents and her sister Dorothy. She is survived by two sisters: Heather Shaw of Revelstoke and Susan Whittlesey of White Rock; nephew Bryan Shaw of Vancouver; niece Ramona Shaw (Ross Reid) of Revelstoke as well as numerous other nieces and nephews from out of town and numerous great nieces and nephews.
