t is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Andrew "Andy" William Nadurak at the age of 68 on Sunday January 20th 2019. Andy was surrounded by his loved ones at his side in the North Okanagan Hospice Society (Vernon).
He was predeceased by his father Michal Nadurak. He was a loving and proud father to his two sons Justin (Emily) and Lee (Erin). A playful Papa to five grandchildren: Rylan, Kaiden, McKenna his "cinderelly", Ashton and Kaine his "little buddy!" A big brother to: Kathy, Rosella, Joe (Debbie), Mike (Julie) and Verla (John). Andy is also survived by his beautiful mother Genevieve (Ron) and his "sweetie" Karen who is his cherished lifelong friend.
Born in Prince George in 1950, Andy later ventured to Revelstoke where he spent many years working and making friends. In his later years Andy moved to Vernon to be closer to his sons and his mom.
Andy will be fondly remembered for his sense of humour, his telling of jokes, being the loudest in the room, always being a helpful hand, and his contagious laugh. Andy put his family first and would do anything for a friend.
The family will be having a celebration of life in the Spring. In lieu of flowers please donate to the Vernon Hospice Society.
