Anita Cameron

In loving memory ~
It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Anita Cameron in Revelstoke BC on January 13, 2022, with her children by her side.
Anita was born September 2, 1935, in Golden BC. She is predeceased by her parents Axel and Eva Hansen, brother Raymond Hansen, son Keith Cameron and husband Ron Cameron. Anita is survived by her brother Norman (Mary) Hansen, sister Nelda (Clyde) Yorke, her children Enola (Brad) Nygren, Ryan (Kathryn) Cameron, Gaye (Greg) Brownlee, Nadine Cameron along with 9 devoted grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
Mom was loved by many and made friends easily, even the 4-legged ones. She was beautiful deep down to her soul. She was a bowler, crocheter, a knitter, quilter, painter, and bingo and card player.
The family is ever grateful for Dr's. McLeod and Molder, Nurse Practitioner Anne-Marie. We also wish to thank the staff and nurses at Queen Victoria Hospital with a special thanks to Jody who was a delight, gentle and kind. Thank you to all the staff at Moberly Manor and a special hug to Shanna, Sue and Wanda. If we have forgotten anybody it is because we ran out of room.

Cremation arrangements are in the care of Brandon Bowers Funeral Home, Revelstoke.
A Celebration of Life Will be held at the Revelstoke Seniors Centre Saturday Sept 24th 12:00 to 4:00 pm
The family welcomes anyone that wishes to come and share stories/memories and laughter. Refreshments will be available.
