Ann Morabito passed away peacefully at Mount Cartier Court, with her family at her side on Friday, October 28th, 2022, at the age of 69 years. Ann's cremated remains were interred with her husband Jim in Mountain View Cemetery, Revelstoke. Ann was born in Wieringen, Holland on December 13, 1952, and had been a resident of Revelstoke since she was a child. She enjoyed curling and was an avid kayaker. Ann especially loved to cook and bake for her children and grandchildren.
Ann was predeceased by her husband Jim in 1995, father-in-law Bruno Morabito in 1995, mother-in-law Vittoria Morabito in 1999 and her father Oeds de Jager in 2018.
She is survived by three children: John Morabito (Tara Peach) of Revelstoke, Brad Morabito of Revelstoke and Megan (Jeff) Lund of Revelstoke; five grandchildren: Loren, Olivia, Molly, Ava and Lincoln; her mother Tina de Jager; siblings: John (Lynn), Kathy (Jeff), Barry, Danny (Steph) and Teresa (Doug); in-laws: Tony (Ila) Morabito, Frank (Susan) Morabito, Mary (Mike) Makara and Stino Morabito (Deani Hascarl), as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
