Antonio "Toni" Aulisa passed away at Vernon Jubilee Hospital on Wednesday, August 12th, 2020 at the age of 74 years.
Prayers were recited from St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church on Friday, August 21st, followed by the Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, August 22nd, with Father Luan Vu celebrant. Pallbearers were Johnny Aulisa, Tony Aulisa, Matthew Thompson, Jim Meloro, Bill Rear and Jordan Dedosenco. Interment followed in Mountain View Cemetery, Revelstoke.
Toni was born in Bagnoli Irpino, Avellino, Italy on May 6, 1946 and had been a resident of Revelstoke since 1963. He was a wonderful furniture builder and also enjoyed building machines. Tony loved music and singing. He enjoyed playing football, gardening and cooking.
Toni was a hard worker who was very creative, talented and detail oriented. He was a also wonderful story teller.
Toni is survived by his wife Deb of Mara; three children: Johnny (Ilenia) Aulisa of Revelstoke, Tony (Manuela) Aulisa of Revelstoke and Anna-Maria Aulisa of Mara; four step children: Dennis Beauchamp of Nanaimo, Corenna Beauchamp (Bob Jackson) of Surrey, Michelle Beauchamp (Ross Raczynski) of Regina and Kim Beauchamp (Jeff Howard) of Leduc; 11 grandchildren: Gabriel, Miriam, Denise, Noemi, Raden, Jordan, Petra, Domenic, Michaela, Kirstin and Felicity; great grandchild Marley; sister Teresa Meloro of Revelstoke; brother Beniamino Aulisa of Florence, Italy as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
