Beverly-Anne Isabelle Christie passed away at Queen Victoria Hospital, Revelstoke on Thursday, October 27th, 2016 at the age of 61 years. There will be a Memorial Tea held at the Revelstoke Senior’s Center on Saturday afternoon, November 12th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 202 – 1835 Gordon Drive, Kelowna, B.C. V1Y 3H5 or to the Revelstoke Humane Society, Box 340, Revelstoke, B.C. V0E 2S0, in memory of Bev.
Bev was born in Ottawa, Ontario on March 5, 1955 and had been a resident of Revelstoke since 1983. She was a well-known and well-liked hairdresser for many years. Bev also volunteered for 10 years with the Revelstoke Humane Society and animals were very special to her. She enjoyed gardening and doing crafts. Bev was a very kind and loving person.
Bev was predeceased by her parents. She is survived by her spouse Myles of Revelstoke; her dog Darby, cats McGyver and Angus, one cousin in Nova Scotia and many good friends in Revelstoke.
Cremation arrangements are in the care of Brandon Bowers Funeral Home, Revelstoke.
