William George (Bill) Benwell passed away at Jubilee Care Centre in Nelson, B.C. He is survived by brother George of Revelstoke, son Steve (Eileen) Benwell, daughters Bente (Dalton) Peck, and Catherine and Ann in Copenhagen, Denmark, as well as 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Bill was a career Forest Service employee who held the Ranger position in Lardeau, Elko, Arrowhead, Mica Creek and Valemount until his retirement.
There will be no service by Bill’s request.
