Carl Dennis Beauchamp passed away at Shuswap Lake General Hospital, Salmon Arm on Sunday, August 4th, 2013 at the age of 66 years. A Mass of Christian Burial was held at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Revelstoke on Friday afternoon, August 9th, 2013 with Father Aaron de Dios celebrant. Memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 202 – 1835 Gordon Avenue, Kelowna, B.C. V1Y 3H5, in memory of Carl.


Carl was born in Pembroke, Ontario on June 25, 1947 and had been a resident of Revelstoke since 1981. He worked as a labourer for the City of Revelstoke for over 25 years. Crib was Carl’s passion and he was proud of having a perfect crib hand. Carl enjoyed his retirement years and spending time with his family and friends, especially with his grandchildren.


Carl is survived by four children: Dennis (Monique) Beauchamp of Nanaimo, Corenna Beauchamp (Bob Jackman) of Surrey, Michelle Beauchamp of Calgary and Kim Beauchamp (Ron Irwin) of Maple Ridge; seven grandchildren: Rayden Beauchamp of Nanaimo, Jordan Dedosenco of North Vancouver, Petra Dedosenco of Calgary, Domonic Morabito, Mikala Morabito, Kirstin Irwin and Felicity Irwin, all of Maple Ridge; great grandchild Marly Jade Dedosenco of Calgary; mother of his children and long-time friend Deborah (Tony) Aulisa and their daughter Anna-Maria. “Beaver” as he was known to his family in Ontario, is also survived by five brothers and seven sisters, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
