Carmine was born in Busso, Italy on May 16, 1931 and had lived in Revelstoke for 47 years where he raised his family and worked for CP Rail for 30 years, retiring in 1991.

Carmen enjoyed growing his garden, making his wine and being with his family and friends. His greatest joy of all was his granddaughters whom he enjoyed spoiling. The front porch was always a place where you would find him enjoying all of his friends and family and where he always made sure everyone was well fed and their glass was full.

Carmen is survived by his loving wife Maria of Revelstoke; daughter Giovanna Czar (Jeff) of Victoria; daughter Nilda Palladino (Grant McKinney) of Kelowna; granddaughters Jacqueline Czar, Andrea Czar and Alyssa McKinney; brother Francesco Palladino (Filomena) of Busso, Italy, sister-in-law Rita Brunetti of Revelstoke and numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and their families in Revelstoke, Surrey and Italy.

The family would like to thank everyone who has been so generous with their outpouring of love and friendship during this time of great sorrow. The support has been truly amazing.

Arrangements were in the care of Brandon Bowers Funeral Home, Revelstoke.
