Marie-Claire Alice Tench
February 26, 1951 - January 29, 2017
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Marie-Claire Alice Tench who passed away on January 29, 2017 at Shuswap Lake General Hospital at the age of 65.
Claire was born to Roland and Frances St. Onge on February 26, 1951. Claire is survived by her husband Ron; children, Tracy (Frank) Lamacchia and Danny Caponero; sisters, Gaetan (Earl) Lanciault, Helene (John) Mears; step-daughters, Wendy (Brian) Benedict, Wanda (Rob) Belise, Jackie (Justin) Standbury and her fourteen grandchildren. She is predeceased by her son, Glen Caponero; stepson, Leslie Tench and sister, Georgie Makkai.
Claire loved to help others, she loved to give, she was always friendly and always there to lend a hand. She was loved and will be greatly missed by all her family and friends.
A Celebration of Claire’s life will take place Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 1:00pm at the Malakwa Elementary School.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or Vancouver Children’s Hospital.
