Conway (Con) Jones passed away peacefully at Queen Victoria Hospital at the age of 94. Con was born in Taber, Alberta on January 28, 1915. He was raised and attended school in a small town, Michel, B.C. During his life Con had a variety of careers, working at a dairy farm, in the coal mines, logging industry, trucking and heavy duty mechanics. He moved to Revelstoke in 1951 and retired with the Department of Highways as a mechanics foreman after 24 years service.


Con is survived by Marion, his wife of 55 years, his son Kent (Laurie) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Con was a “one in a million” man and will be missed by all who knew him.

A memorial tea will be held in the Revelstoke Seniors Centre on Saturday, October 24th from 1pm to 4pm.
