It is with great sadness that his family announces the passing of Curtis Alan Randall on Saturday April 18th, 2009 at the age of 32 years. Curtis was born April 7, 1977, living a full life, despite being affected by Duchene Muscular Dystrophy.


Mourned in loss by his Dad, Cliff Randall (Barb Forde) of Revelstoke; Mother, Robyn Hoffman (Rick) of Kelowna and his devoted Sister, Jenn Randall (Jason Joslin) of Kamloops, as well as aunts, uncles and cousins across Canada.


Curtis is sadly predeceased by paternal grandparents, Alan and Josephine Randall of North Bay, Ontario, maternal grandparents, Bob and Marg Kolesnikoff, Kamloops, B.C.


Curtis grew up and graduated in Kamloops, BC proving to everyone that life had no boundaries and that dreams do come true if you have a strong supportive care team! Curtis touched many hearts with his determination and zest for life. His most noteworthy accomplishment was being a gold medal winner and longstanding member of the Canadian Wheel Chair Target Sports Team. Curtis was a Life Member of the Harley Owners Group, Kamloops HOG Chapter and Fraternal Order of Eagles, North Kamloops Aerie. His memory will live on in these associations and his deep family ties.


The family wishes to thank the long list of current and previous care givers who provided care to Curtis on a daily basis, so he could appreciate everything life had to offer.


Viewing will take place Friday April 24th, 2009 from 7-9 pm, and Memorial Service Saturday, April 25th, 2009 at 11am at Kamloops Funeral Home Chapel, 285 Fortune Dr., Kamloops B.C. everyone is welcome to attend this casual celebration. Those who so desire, may make memorial donations, in lieu of flowers, to Muscular Dystrophy Canada, 7th Floor, 1401 West Broadway St., Vancouver, B.C., V6H 1H6.
