David Savage died peacefully in Toronto on June 21st, 2021, after a long illness courageously fought.

Born in England, David served in the RAF, then emigrated to Canada where he joined British Airways and made his home in Montreal, Edmonton, and Vancouver before retiring to Revelstoke and Toronto. He travelled globally, and in his beloved sailboats Ariel and Astraea, navigated passages up and down the BC coast.

David enjoyed life to the full, treasuring conversation, humour and camaraderie.

David will be deeply missed by wife Leslie Crabtree Savage of Toronto, brothers Roger Savage of Melbourne and Ian Savage of Farnborough, daughters Alison Miller (Morley Miller) of Vernon, Elizabeth Savage (Peter Gallant) of Vernon, Vanessa Savage (Ed McCurdy) of Vancouver, step-daughters Michele Farrugia (David Dal Bello) of Toronto and Alexandra Farrugia (Chris MacDonald) of Revelstoke, and daughter-in-law Patty Cote of Sarnia.

David loved his eleven grandchildren Michael (Alison), Jennifer (Tyson), Alexander (Kimberley), Neena, Saskia, Sebastian, Beatrice, Grace, Ben, William, and Thomas as well as four great grandchildren. Predeceased by son Adam, brother Geoffrey and sister Susan.
