Diane Carol Lang (Kozek) born August 7, 1949 passed away May 11, 2020. It is with utmost sadness the family of Diane Carol Lang announces her sudden passing at KBRH hospital in Trail B.C. on May 11 2020 at the age of 70 years.
Diane was born in Revelstoke B.C. to Walter and Mary Kozek. She grew up as part of the south Revelstoke community of 12 mile as her grandparents were one of the many pioneers of the area before the damming of the Arrow Lakes.
Diane was very active in the history of 12 mile and other communities in the area. Diane worked as a bookkeeper for many years at sunset equipment and rentals and knew most of the logging folks in and out of the area.
She loved bowling was damn good for a lefty, enjoyed gardening watching things grow, and her many cats through the years.
Diane was married to Robert Lang December 17, 1966 and had one son Stacey Lang. Diane was pre-deceased by her mother Mary Kozek, Father Walter Kozek.
She is survived by her loving husband Robert Lang, her son Stacey(Sharon)Lang, her brother Alan Kozek, Patches the cat, 3 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren,and 6 step great grandchildren, aunts uncles and cousins.
Diane was cremated and no formal funeral service as per her wishes. She will have an interment at Mountain View Cemetery Revelstoke B.C. at a later date.
