It is with our deepest sadness that we announce the passing of Franca (Fran) Kincaid on December 20, 2024. She was a beloved mom, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Fran was born on September 13, 1950, in Spezzano, Piccolo, Italy. She immigrated to Canada with her family and made Revelstoke her lifelong home. Fran was the third daughter born to parents Gaspare (Gasper) and Emerlinda (Linda) Scarcelli.
Fran was a hard worker and dedicated employee, having held various jobs in the community of Revelstoke. Her diverse work experiences allowed her to form many friendships and fond memories. In retirement, she devoted herself to nurturing cherished relationships with her grandchildren, closest friends, and her sisters, whom she loved dearly.
Fran was a modest person, who could always be counted on to lend an ear and provide advice, comfort, and support. She loved to use humor and playful banter, especially with her son-in-law. When Fran found time to relax, she enjoyed the simple things in life. She loved walking on the greenbelt, having coffee with her friends and family, chatting on the phone, and watching her favorite show, Coronation Street. Her love and compassion extended beyond her family and friends to the many cherished feline companions she had throughout her life.
Fran will be lovingly remembered by her son Lee and her daughter Lisa, her son-in-law Robert, her grandchildren, Madison, Matthew, and Isabella, her sisters Anna and Susie, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends.
She is sadly predeceased by her parents, her oldest sister, Toni, her younger sister, Yvonne, and her nephew, Cory.
Fran will be deeply missed and will be forever in our hearts.
A private family gathering will be held at a later date to celebrate her life.
