Gillian Lorraine Swallow passed away peacefully at Mt. Cartier Court Palliative Care on Saturday, June 10th, 2017 at the age of 63 years. A Memorial Service will be held in the Chapel of Brandon Bowers Funeral Home, Revelstoke at 1:30 p.m. on Monday afternoon, June 19th with Pastor Jason Harder officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society, 202 – 1835 Gordon Drive, Kelowna, B.C. V1Y 3H5, in memory of Gillian.
Gillian was born in Belfast, Northern Ireland on March 5, 1954 and had been a resident of Revelstoke for over 30 years. She enjoyed going for walks and having coffee at Tim Hortons. Gillian especially loved spending time with her family.
Gillian was predeceased by her husband Paul in 2014 and her dog Shippo. She is survived by two sons: Spencer (Chelan) of Revelstoke and Robert (Terri) of Prince George; her grandson Liam and six siblings.
