Coming Home
The sweethearts who migrated to California after marriage have finally returned home to their beloved Revelstoke, the little big town where they were born, raised, fell in love and married.
Gino Robert Cecchetto and Arlette Madeleine Johnson lived in Redwood City, California for most of their married life.
Together they raised four children, Terri Marie, Frank Gino, Carl Guido and Gino Robert Jr. and had countless loving friends. Over the years they made many return trips to Revelstoke and Vancouver Island to stay connected with the families that they loved.
Gino passed away from Alzheimer's on February 2, 2010 at 85. Arlette lovingly cared for him for 10 years.
Arlette died on March 2, 2023 at 92 of heart failure.
Their remains were returned home to Revelstoke by Terri Marie and Gino Jr. along with granddaughter, MacKenzie and her family, Patrick, Levi and Harley, Arlette's brother Terry Fleming and his wife, Sharon along with niece Randi (Johnson) Muchka and her husband Garth, who saw them to their final resting place.
