Ivan Cecil Graham passed away suddenly at home on Wednesday, January 12th, 2011, at the age of 75 years.

Ivan was born on April 22nd, 1935, at Salmon Arm, B.C., the youngest of seven children. He grew up in Sicamous, and was married in 1955. The following year, he and his wife Nancy moved to Sidmouth and lived there until 1968. When the Columbia Valley was being prepared for flooding, they relocated to their current home place south of Revelstoke.


Ivan was a hard worker and spent most of his life logging, milling, and farming. He loved fishing, hunting, hiking in the mountains, and spending time with family.


Ivan will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by Nancy, his wife of 55 years, and their three sons and four daughters; Ken (Donna) Graham of Edson, Alberta, Linda (Matt) Angus of Revelstoke, Jim (Adele) Graham of Revelstoke, Brenda Goodman of Revelstoke, Heather Tottenham (Vic Churchill) of Revelstoke, Jeff (Becky) Graham of Revelstoke, and Christy (Timber) Soles of Fort Nelson, B.C.; 15 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren. Also surviving are his two sisters, Ethel Newman, of Yakima, Washington, and Bernice Hyam, of Sicamous, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.


A Memorial Service will be held at the Revelstoke Community Center on Saturday, January 29th, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Rick Eby officiating.


Cremation arrangements are in the care of Brandon Bowers Funeral Home, Revelstoke.
