James Melnyk

September 1, 1929 - July 20, 2022
Long-time resident and businessman James (Jimmy) Melnyk passed away quietly at Queen Victoria Hospital in Revelstoke, B.C.
James is survived by his wife of 67 years Mary Josephine Melnyk and daughters Lori Ruck (Kelowna), Kari Streleoff (Lake Country), Jo-Ann Hedin (Revelstoke), Lyn Wagner (Lake Country), four grandsons and four great grandsons.
For the past two years, we received amazing care from Interior Health, care aids, nursing staff and a special thank you to Dr. Kate McCarroll from dad: "I wish I could take you with me. I'm going to miss you!"
In loving memory, a "Celebration of Life" will be held in honour of James Melnyk on September 17, 2022, from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the Senior's Centre in Revelstoke, B.C. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Queen Victoria Hospital, Revelstoke.
