It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Joyce Christian on June 8, 2018, at the age of 92. Surrounded by her children she slipped away peacefully, ending an exceptionally full life. Joyce was predeceased by her husband of 68 years, Frank.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children Gail (Gerry), Noel and Wayne (Maureen), as well as her six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. The second eldest of 15, she is also survived by nine siblings and their families.
She will be fondly remembered for her amazing culinary skills. She was a talented and avid gardener who loved to share her harvests. Her generous and thoughtful nature was greatly beneficial to many others.
The family gracefully thanks Dr. Molder for his attentiveness and compassionate care and all the truly wonderful staff at Mt. Cartier Court. In addition, we are grateful for the tremendous efforts made by the staff of Revelstoke Home Care Support. We also would like to extend sincere appreciation to Heather Wolnich whose dedication to Joyce's well-being was incomparable.
A celebration of life will be held in September at Nelson B.C.
