Mrs. Leona Ann ‘Lee’ McTaggart (nee Threatful) of Ponoka passed away at the Red Deer Hospice on Friday, May 28, 2021 at the age of 76 years. Lee was born on January 15, 1945, to Leonard and Stephanie Threatful, in Revelstoke, British Columbia.
Lee was a loving wife, mother, sister and daughter. She will always be remembered for her gentle nature, her kind and giving heart, her generosity, and her genuine love for people and nature.
Lee will be sadly missed by her devoted husband, Mick McTaggart of Ponoka, her daughter, Corrie Parks (Curtis) of Sylvan Lake and her grandchildren, Gage and Tye.
She will also be sadly missed by her brother, David Threatful of Revelstoke and her sister, Wendy Threatful of Vancouver; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and friends. Lee was predeceased by her parents, Leonard and Stephanie Threatful.
