Margot Sommer long time resident of Revelstoke, B.C. Passed away after a long battle with dementia and recent stroke. She was born in East Germany where she became an anesthetic nurse. In 1962 she married Egon Sommer and lived most of her life in Revelstoke until 2011 when they moved to West Kelowna, B.C. Margot was known to many as a long time cook at Smittys pancake house. She loved to fish and go camping.


She is survived by her loving husband of 54 years, Egon Sommer, daughter Marion now known as Mariah Sommers and 4 grandchildren Amanda Raimondi (formerly Amanda Misner) of Calgary, A.B., Nathaniel Labrecque of Calgary A.B., Marissa Labrecque of Penticton, B.C., and Jess Sommers of Calgary, A,B.


Rest in peace as you suffer no longer.
