Marguerite Cranston
1922 – 2010
Marguerite Cranston died peacefully at Haven Hill Retirement Centre on Sunday, October 17, 2010 with her daughters by her side.
Marguerite was born March 22, 1922 in Wingham, Ontario. She was predeceased by her husband Bill in 1997 and brother Archie McLaren in 1997. Marguerite lived in Westbank for many years before coming to Penticton. She is survived by her loving family; daughter, Debra (Greg) Kendall of Custer, Washington, Llana (Gordon) Loewen of Langley; grandchildren, Corey, Josh and Rhianna; great grandchildren, MacKenzie and Jordyn; sisters, Helen Bentley of Penticton, Isabelle Hurd of Summerland; brother, Kenneth McLaren of Delta as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of her life was held on Thursday, October 21, 2010 at 2 p.m. at the Chapel of Everden Rust Funeral Services, 1130 Carmi Ave., Penticton. A special thank you to Dr. Westby, nurses and care aides of Haven Hill for the care given to Marguerite.
