It is with great sadness that the family of Marla Thompson announce her sudden passing in Edmonton, Alberta on July 26, 2021 at the age of 46.
Marla was born in Revelstoke, BC on July 22, 1975. Growing up in Revelstoke, she developed many lasting friendships. She continued to touch lives while living in Abbotsford, BC, and most recently Edmonton, Alberta.
Marla was predeceased by her parents, Sylvia and Clarence Thacker.
She will be sadly missed and always remembered by her loving children; Sylvia (17), Marissa (11), and Jonathyn (8), her stepmom Linda Thacker, her brother Wally (Cathie) Thacker, her sister Dorothy (Terry) Heddle, her sister Tammy (Randy) Kaler, stepsister Kelly (Steve) Gibson, stepbrother Clint Petroff, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and her children's grandparents, Vickie and Larry Thompson.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
