Michael Andrew Smith died suddenly in a motor vehicle accident in Calderitas, Mexico on Thursday, February 28th, 2019 at the age of 50 years. A Celebration of Mike's life will be held at St. Francis of Assisi Church Hall on Saturday afternoon, March 30th, 2019 at 2 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Rolling Dog Ranch Animal Sanctuary, 400 Rolling Dog Ranch Lane, Orando, Montana, USA 59854 or at: https://www.rollingdogranch.com/ in memory of Mike.

Mike was born in Revelstoke, B.C. on April 11, 1968. He was living his dream in Belize at the time of his unfortunate accident. Mike was a solid, level-headed man who was always helping family and friends.

Mike is survived by his beloved wife Tammy of Revelstoke; mother Gertrud Smith of Revelstoke; son Justin Smith of Revelstoke; brother Edward Smith of Vancouver; step-children: Chloe Hale (Shane O'Heir) of Revelstoke, Connor Hale and Cassidy Hale of Kelowna and Carrigan Hale of Revelstoke; granddaughter Hallie as well as numerous good friends.
