Nelson James Kent Amos

(Former reporter at the Revelstoke Times Review)

Peacefully on July 22, 2010 in his hometown of Kingston, Ontario after a valiant struggle with dermatomyositis, complicated by interstitial lung disease. Beloved only son of the late Lyman and Mary Amos. Precious brother of Shelley Dee and Sherri Amos, dearly loved uncle of Christopher and Patrick (Dana) Dee. Very special great uncle of Jayden and Colton Dee, all of Kingston.

He will be dearly missed by his “family” in Revelstoke, Vivian Mitchell and Keith Bramhill.

As per his wishes cremation has taken place and his ashes were scattered over our childhood swimming hole at Kingston’s Olympic Harbour.

Jamie was on the lung transplant waiting list in Ontario, but ran out of time. If you so wish, please make a donation to the Lung Association or the Organ Donor Transplant Association.

“Jamie, you’re breathing freely now”.

Love, Shelley and Sherri
