Nina’s life began in Nicastro, Provincia di Catanzaro, Italy, on July 22nd 1929 and she came to Canada in 1949. Nina and her husband Tony lived in Vancouver, B.C. and moved to Revelstoke three years later in 1952, and were residents of the community ever since.

Nina and her husband Tony happily raised their family of five children here. Nina enjoyed gardening and canning. Her passion was cooking and she loved to feed her family. Nina had a great sense of humour as well as an astute business sense. She loved investing in real estate. Nina’s whole life was her family, especially her grandchildren. Nina suffered a great loss at the early passing of two of her children, son Rudy and daughter Terri as they were called home much too young.

Nina was predeceased by her husband Tony, an infant son Anthony, son Rudy and daughter Terri; her parents Christina and Joseph Impiombato; her mother and father-in-law Sarafina and Frank Cianflone; brothers-in-law Joe Cipriano and Joe Cianflone. She is survived by three daughters: Lillian (Lorne) Evin of Robson, B.C., Marie (Trevor) Marback of Revelstoke and Donna (Jim) Spankes of Kamloops; five grandchildren: Nicole, Danielle, Anthony, Quinn and Christina; five great grandchildren: Joshua, Emjai, Natalie, Brooks and Callie. She also leaves her sister-in-law Katrina Cipriano of Vancouver and nephews Frank (Christina) Cipriano and Lino (Monica) Cipriano, also of Vancouver.
