March 8, 1938 - December 21, 2018
Noreen Frances Tottenham passed away in the Vernon Jubilee Hospital on Saturday, December 22, 2018. She struggled with COPD and Congestive Heart Failure for many years and this time she didn't win the battle.
Born in Hamilton Ontario on March 8, 1938 she married Bob in 1955 and they moved to BC. After a short time in Surrey they moved to Revelstoke to raise a family and spent the next 50+ years in the same house on 2nd Street.
Noreen worked at the Tastee Freez, Shell Oil Bulk Plant and then with the School District as a custodian. She loved working with the kids and was known as Mrs. T to many of the students.
She spent many hours at the Hospital Auxiliary Thrift Shop and enjoyed her job as Treasurer. Mom liked to bake, pies were her specialty and she made sure the cookie jar was always full. Candy apples and popcorn balls to the neighbourhood kids at Halloween and so many treats at Christmas.
Predeceased by her husband Bob in 2016, Noreen/Mom/Nana/Nan will be greatly missed by her family: children- Cindy, Mark, and Cory; grandchildren: Robert, Rebecca, Madison, Kiera, Kevin, Ken, Katrina, Kathy, Kaitlin, Jen, James, and Ashlee; great grandchildren: Farrah, Cash, North and Elliott, sisters Brenda and Dorothy and brother Michael.
As per her request there will be no service.
