Pearl Florence Stoodley (nee Kallman) passed away in the Powell River Extended Care facility on November 19, 2011 at the age of 93 years.


There will be no formal service at this time. A ceremony will be held in Revelstoke in May 2012.


Pearl was born on May 6, 1918 in Waterglen, Alberta and grew up in Golden, B.C. where she met and married Jack Harrison. They later moved to Revelstoke, B.C. Pearl enjoyed playing accordion and piano. She played in an all girl’s band for several years and was very active with the Revelstoke Senior’s Music Group.

She was predeceased by her husband, Jack Harrison in 1974, her second husband, Cliff Stoodley in 1991, sister Myrtle Kimpton and brother Art Kallman. She is survived by her son Ed (Virginia) Harrison; grandchildren: Wendy (Rick) Hurlin and Brian (Joanne) Harrison; great grandsons: Ryley, Shelby, Wyatt, Garrett and Heath; as well as numerous other extended family members and many good friends. Pearl was loved immensely by her family and will be truly missed.
