Randy Biggs passed away at the Royal Inland Hospital in Kamloops on Friday, May 7th after 77 years of life. A private family service was held in the Mt. Mackenzie Columbarium at Mountain View Cemetery, Revelstoke.
Randy was born in Vancouver on February 26, 1944 and lived most of his life in Revelstoke. Randy spent the majority of his working life as an entrepreneur in the transportation industry.
Those who knew him, knew a man with a big heart, a wry way with words, a mischievous sense of humor, and a giving spirit. Randy was a long-time volunteer firefighter. He was instrumental in enhancing the sports division at the firehall and was proud of that accomplishment.
He enjoyed a good game of fastball and will be missed by those who regularly saw him on the golf course or out fishing.
Randy met his match, and the love of his life, in Anne. Married for 56 years, Randy is survived by Anne, their two children Troy (Laurie) of Revelstoke and Stacey (Lonnie) of Calgary, as well as two grandchildren, Jacob (Corrie) of Prince Rupert and Sofie (Cody) of Revelstoke. He is also remembered by a long list of family members and a host of long- time friends. Also missing him and looking for him will be Leo.
Randy's family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and doctors who cared for him at Royal Inland Hospital. Their kindness during this time will not be forgotten.
