Raymond Jack Korenko passed away at Bastion Place, Salmon Arm on Saturday, October 8th, 2022, at the age of 76 years. There will be no formal funeral service, but Ray's cremated remains will be interred near his parents in Mountain View Cemetery, Revelstoke.
Ray was born in Revelstoke, B.C. on October 21, 1945, and attended school here from grades 1-12, graduating in 1964. He worked construction for the Mica Dam as well as a Carman for C.P. Rail in Revelstoke, Kamloops, Port Coquitlam, and Edmonton, before retiring in Salmon Arm. Ray loved watching hockey and enjoyed fishing on the Arrow Lakes. He especially enjoyed cars and the various models he had throughout the years.
Ray was predeceased by his parents, Jack and Helen Korenko. He is survived by his sister, Irene Lewis of Revelstoke; niece Shelley (Ed) Koski of Revelstoke; nephew Frank Lewis of Celista as well as numerous cousins, grand nieces, and nephews.
