Rita Ursula Stacey passed away at Queen Victoria Hospital, Revelstoke on Thursday, August 2nd, 2018 at the age of 60 years. There will be no formal funeral service by Rita's own request.
Rita was born in Port Alice, B.C. on January 3, 1958 and moved to Revelstoke in 1968. She lived in Slave Lake, Alberta and Vernon before moving back here in May of 2018. Rita was the former co-owner of Heather Hut Boutique. She was an avid skier. Rita will be sorely missed by her family.
Rita is survived by two daughters: Katie (Chris) of Slave Lake and Erica of Sicamous; granddaughter Tiffany; her mother Brigitte of Revelstoke; siblings: Robert Hoffmeister of Revelstoke and Rose Gurevitch of Calgary as well as two nieces; Rachel and Hannah.
