Robert (Bob) Brummitt passed away in the Hospice Room of Queen Victoria Hospital, Revelstoke on December 21st, 2010 at the age of 60. Bob was happy to spend his last days in Revelstoke surrounded by his family.

A Memorial Service was held at the Revelstoke Senior’s Center on Saturday afternoon, January 8th, 2001. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the "Tyler Smith Fund" at the Revelstoke Credit Union, in Bob's name.

Bob was born on July 23rd, 1950, in Brandon Manitoba. He spent most of his years working as a talented bricklayer/ stone mason. Many examples of his work can be seen all around the Revelstoke area. Bob was a dedicated, hardworking man who enjoyed spending time outdoors.  Bob had an electric energy that was hard to resist not liking to all that were around him. Bob had a way with children, and whether they were his own or not, kids always seemed to gravitate towards him.

Bob is survived by his long time wife Barb of Salmon Arm, three children: Cassie, of Revelstoke, Allie, of Calgary, Cole, of Salmon Arm, his mother Lou, of Kamloops, three brothers, John (Tessie), of Burnaby, Phillip, of Kamloops, David, of Vancouver Island, numerous nieces and nephews, as well as his treasured grand-dogs.

Bob's family would like to thank the nurses for their great care and Brandon Bowers Funeral Home for all their assistance.
