June 29, 1931 - October 27, 2018
Roy was born on June 29, 1931 in Wawota, Saskatchewan to Gertrude and James Farquhar. He was the youngest of seven children and he is the last one to say goodbye!
Roy worked for the Dept. of Highways for 38 years in Hope, Spences Bridge and Mica Creek, BC. In 1970 he married Rosemarie and they made their home in Revelstoke, Vernon and Salmon Arm. After retirement, Roy and Rosemarie traveled for many years.
Thank you to the entire staff of Hillside Village (Cottage 3) who provided such kind, loving and compassionate care to Roy and family.
A family gathering to celebrate Roy's life will be held next year!
