In loving memory ~
On February 18, 2022, Walter Thomas Little, a long-time resident of Revelstoke, British Columbia, left all of us peacefully at the age of 73.
Walter was a loving and devoted Father to his Daughter Rebecca Anne Hines and a steadfast confidant to Marc Guillard, his son-in-law, both from Chestermere Alberta. Four grandchildren will always have fond memories of time with their grandfather fishing, camping or hockey memories: Dannielle Sartison of Edmonton Alberta, Jami Little of Langley British Columbia, Meghan Guillard of Calgary Alberta and Walter's Little Fishing Buddy Ethan Hines of Chestermere Alberta.
Little brother Walter will be greatly missed by his sisters, Collen Gould of North Star, Alberta and Joyce Dechant of Manning Alberta. Many of Walter's extended family, who have had the joy of spending time with him over the years, be it around a Pool table, out camping, in a boat fishing will also remember him fondly.
Many people have crossed paths with Walter through his life. Be it at a baseball tournament, fishing, camping, hockey or so many other activities that cultivated long term friendships, even if he was a Montreal Canadiens fan no one held that against him. Walter was a humble and selfless man who would always put family and friends first.
In lieu of flowers, Walter's final wish was for donations to be made to the "Make A Wish Foundation" to help children experience hope, strength and joy, just as he did for all around him.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Lounge in Revelstoke on Friday, March 4th, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
