Yaeko (Yae) Hayashi
With her family by her side, Yaeko passed away peacefully on January 3, 2014. Predeceased by her loving husband Dennis, she is survived and will be sadly missed by her children Allyson, Stewart (Iwona) and Patricia (David); grandchildren Nicole and Nataly; and sister Masayo Aura. As a mom, grandma, sister, aunt, friend and business woman, she will be lovingly remembered for her positive influence and grace.
A service will be held Friday, January 10 at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel at Kearney Funeral Services, 450 West 2nd Avenue, Vancouver. In lieu of flowers, donations gratefully acknowledged to the North Shore Hospice, 319 East 14th Street, North Vancouver BC, V7M 1P6. Koden graciously declined.
