Occupy is about more than camping out

People need to learn what Occupy movement is about before judging it: letter writer.

Editor,

It is obvious that too many people in Revelstoke are not aware of what OCCUPY is about, if one makes a judgment from your poll on Occupy Revelstoke.

How many people are supporters of corporations and individuals hiding their money in tax shelters, while we of the middle class pay to make up the difference?

How many favour bonus payments for bankers who bought into toxic mortgages?

Not so many, I would presume. It is time to look hard and consider what changes these people are really wanting, rather than worrying about them camping out and spoiling the look of the city.

Andy Parkin,

Revelstoke
