Sculpture is too noisy and dusty but a gravel pit isn’t?

Editor,

The noise and dust created by a sculptor is nothing compared to a gravel pit. Our city planning department  and members of council which gave their approval for a gravel pit close to the Columbia Park subdivision should be the ones forced to leave town not  Nanimahoo. As they are the ones who consider that the dust and noise from a gravel pit is acceptable 300 meters from a residential area.
