A total of 21 members of the Penticton Vees, past and present, are currently attending NHL development camps.
Atop the list of familiar names is Bradly Nadeau, who spent two seasons in the South Okanagan from 2021 and 2023 and was most recently in the first round (30th overall) by the Carolina Hurricanes at NHL Draft on June 28 in Nashville.
He played alongside his brother, Josh, who recently received an invite to attend the Hurricanes’ development camp.

Bradly, who’s pegged to play at the University of Maine next season, was one of two Vees from last season to be taken in the draft.
The other was Aydar Suniev, who heard his name called on June 29, by the Calgary Flames in the third round (80th overall).
Current Vees Larry Keenan and Ryan Macpherson were drafted on the same day by the Detroit Red Wings and Philidelphia Flyers, respectively. Following their time at NHL development camps this summer, the Ontario-born pair will make their debuts with Penticton’s BCHL squad in September.
