Fans of end-to-end hockey got a treat on Saturday as the Revelstoke Bantam Grizzlies opened their season with a 7-7 tie with the Chase Chiefs at the Forum. The teams battled back and forth all game, with Chase going taking the lead five times only to see Revelstoke come back and tie it. Matt Cadden and Brayden Fairley both scored twice for the Grizzlies, and Liam Sutherland, Hayden Gjitema and Brett Alm also got goals in the game. This weekend the teams plays in Kamloops on Saturday and Chase on Sunday. They are back home on Oct. 19 at 3 p.m. against Chase. The Revelstoke Peewee Grizzlies start their season this Sunday in Winfield.
