The Columbia Valley Skateboard Association hosted Revelstoke Go Skateboarding Day events on June 21

The Columbia Valley Skateboard Association hosted Revelstoke Go Skateboarding Day events on June 21, including a skate comp at Kovach Park, and a skate to work or school initiative. The events also included a fundraiser dinner and evening show to raise funds for a new skatepark. Ben Doyle won the King of SKATE competition at Kovach Skatepark. Competitors went one-on-one to see who had the deepest bag of tricks. Miss five tricks, it spells SKATE, and you were out of the competition. Here, Doyle warms up with an ollie over the pyramid. Eddie Edmonds beat out Matt Rebelo to take the highest ollie competition.
