The Revelstoke atom hockey team continued minor hockey's winning run by taking it's league title on Monday.

Revelstoke faced off against Lumby in Sicamous in the finals.

Revelstoke were down by two goals at the end of the first period. The team was not willing to give up however and battled back. The score was 3-2 Lumby after the second period.

With determination, Revelstoke tied it with eight minutes left and then netted the winning goal with only minutes to go. They managed to hold off Lumby, who fought hard for the last two minutes to clench the win and the Okanagan North Super League title.

The final score was 4-3 Revelstoke.

The Atom team is playing in valley championship tournament in Chase this weekend, something that Revelstoke has not done since 2008.
