The Revelstoke Grizzlies have made their talent known once again as the Kootenay International Junior Hockey League (KIJHL) playoffs begin, with one defenceman landing a spotlight on the league's Stars of the Week.

Recognized as top KIJHL defenceman, Calgary-born Nathan White, 20, scored 12 goals and recorded 20 assists in 47 games across the 2023-24 and 2024-25 seasons.

White has sported an average of 0.72 points per game.

His playoff performance this year has yet to fully unfold, but he's logged four assists in two games. In the 2023-24 playoffs, he scored three goals and added seven assists in 18 games.

In Revelstoke's first playoff game this season on Friday, Feb. 28, White assisted three of the Grizzlies' four goals, including their game-winner in a close 4-3 comeback against the Merritt Centennials.

Grizzlies fans can cheer White on at the Revelstoke Forum this Friday, March 7, and next Monday, March 10, as the Grizzlies continue to face Merritt. Games start at 7 p.m.
