Summerland Secondary wins Senior Girls Last Spike volleyball tournament; hosts Revelstoke finish fifth.

Summerland won gold at the Senior Girls Last Spike Volleyball tournament in Revelstoke last weekend.

Revelstoke Secondary School’s senior girls’ volleyball team had a great week, finishing tied for fifth at the Senior Girl’s Last Spike Volleyball tournament at RSS this past weekend.

Aberdeen Hall Preparatory School from Kelowna beat Revelstoke in the quarter final 25-17 and 25-17. Aberdeen went onto beat Kelowna Christian 25-12, 15-25, and 15-4 in the bronze medal game.

Summerland Secondary beat Rutland Secondary School 25-16 and 29-27 in the gold medal match.

The Revelstoke Secondary girl’s resume league play on Tuesday with a home game at 5:30 p.m. against Vernon Secondary School.
