The City’s advisory planning commission saw a development application from Can West Hotels Ltd. proposing a six-storey, 67-unit hotel on the Trans Canada Highway.

The proposed Fairfield Inn — an economy brand licensed by Marriott International — would be built adjacent to the current Ramada hotel at the intersection of the Trans-Canada Highway and Hwy. 23 North.
