Friday opening at the RVAC kicks off fall art season

Six groups of local musicians are coming together to put on a concert in memory of Daniel Levesque, the talented Revelstoke musician who was killed in Victoria last month. Levesque had recently moved to Victoria to pursue a career in music.

With the annual Railway Days festival gearing up to begin on Aug. 11, plans are well underway at the Revelstoke Railway Museum for its annual dinner and silent auction fundraiser, on Friday, Aug. 12. This popular outdoor event has been dubbed the Last Spike Dinner and Silent Auction in honour of the significance of the driving of the last spike and will be held in Rotary Park on the museum grounds.
