In conjunction with BC Hydro and the Upper Arrow Lakes Drawdown Zone Advisory Committee, members of the Revy Riders Dirtbike Club went out to 10 and 12 mile south of town on the flats and hauled away 7 truck loads of car parts, burnt couches, chairs, and other debris, as well as this littered canopy. In total, close to 3,000 lbs of junk was hauled to the landfill. Revy Riders will be doing this at least once a season on the drawdown area in an effort to keep the popular "mud flats" area clean. The Advisory Committee and BC Hydro commend the efforts of the Club members for working to preserve the beauty and sensitive wildlife habitat of the area.
