The Revelstoke Skating Club’s year-end Carnival took place on March 16, raising $1,200 for the Revelstoke Food Bank.

The stands were full of friends and family to watch the club’s production of Mary Poppins on Ice. The club’s young skaters along with coaches Marisa Salon and Lauren Goss had been working hard all winter on the performance.

This year, they were pleased to welcome a special guest performer Gabrielle Jugnauth of Kelowna, the 2023 Novice Women’s Canadian Champion, to perform for an enthralled audience.

Another new addition to the show was the adult skating group who got dressed up for their performance as skating pigeons in Feed the Birds!

With that, the season was over, but registration for the new season opens in August.
