RBC Revelstoke manager Lynne Welock presented $25,000 to the City of Revelstoke

Photo: RBC bank manager Lynne Welock hands a donation of $25,000 to Revelstoke Mayor David Raven at city council’s June 25 meeting. The money will be used to help bring in age-friendly recreation equipment to Kovach Park as part of an ongoing restoration project. Welock said the donation commemorated the Revelstoke RBC Branch’s 50th anniversary in the community. She asked community members to come into the branch to share memories related to the bank’s history here. “We’re asking the community: Do you have a story from the earlier days and can you share it with us?”
